Acceptable Use Policy
This policy applies to everything shown on screens connected to SignageLite and everything uploaded to or linked from the service. It is part of our Terms of Service.
Do not use SignageLite to show, store or distribute
- Anything illegal where the screen is located, or anything that promotes illegal activity.
- Material you don't have the rights to, including copyrighted video, music, photos, fonts or designs, or other people's trademarks used misleadingly.
- Sexually explicit material, or any sexual content involving minors (reported to the authorities).
- Hate speech, harassment, threats, or content that incites violence or discrimination.
- Misleading prices, false health or allergen claims, fake reviews, or scams.
- Advertising for regulated products (alcohol, tobacco, vaping, gambling, medicines, firearms) where it breaks local advertising rules, for example near schools.
- Other people's personal data (such as customer photos or names) without the permission the law requires.
- Malware, or links designed to compromise devices or steal information.
Do not misuse the service
- Don't try to access other customers' accounts, screens or data, or probe, scan or attack the service or the networks it runs on.
- Don't share accounts or pairing/setup files outside your business, resell the service without our written agreement, or work around screen limits.
- Don't overload the service (for example automated mass uploads or requests) or use it to store files that aren't for your screens.
- Use remote controls (reboot, Wi-Fi, TV power) only on devices you are allowed to manage.
Copyright and content complaints
If you believe content on a SignageLite screen infringes your rights, email [email protected] with: your contact details, the work you own, where the content appears (business name, address or screen), and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised and the information is accurate. We will review it, may remove the content, and will tell the customer, who may respond.
Enforcement
We may remove content, pause screens or suspend accounts that break this policy, without notice where there is a risk of harm or a legal requirement. Report abuse to [email protected].
