A screen shows as offline

What to check when a screen stops checking in.

1. Is the TV and player on? Many TVs switch off after 4 hours without a remote press. Turn off "Auto power off" in the TV's settings.
2. Is the player connected? Check the Wi-Fi or network cable. On a Raspberry Pi set up from our download, you can change Wi-Fi from the screen's page in the dashboard once it's back online.
3. "Online · another app is on screen" means the Fire TV or Android player is running, but someone opened another app. On a Dedicated sign it comes back on its own.
4. Restart it: unplug the player's power for 10 seconds and plug it back in. Raspberry Pis can also be restarted from the dashboard.

Screens keep showing their last content while offline, so customers usually see nothing wrong.
