Connect a screen (pairing code)
How to add a TV to your account with its 6-character code.
Every player ends the same way: it shows a 6-character pairing code on the TV.
- Sign in to your dashboard and open Screens.
- Type the code from the TV into Pairing code and click Add screen.
- Give the screen a name (for example "Front counter") and choose what it shows.
The screen starts playing within a few seconds.
Which player should I use?
- Raspberry Pi: our most reliable option, with remote reboot, Wi-Fi changes and TV on/off from the dashboard. See Raspberry Pi setup.
- Fire TV or Android TV / Google TV: install our app with the Downloader app. See Fire TV and Android TV.
- Smart TV, tablet or computer: open app.signagelite.com/player in the browser. Good for trying things out; less dependable for signs that run all day.
The code isn't accepted
- Check all 6 characters. Codes never use the letters I or O, or the numbers 0 or 1.
- Codes change if the player restarts. Use the one currently on the TV.
- If your account has no free screen slots, remove a screen or add screens under Billing.
