Remove, move or give away a screen
Take a player out of your account so it shows a new pairing code.
Remove a screen
- Open Screens in the dashboard.
- Click the remove (bin) button on the screen's row and confirm.
The player is taken out of your account straight away. If it's switched on, it stops showing your content within seconds and displays a new pairing code. If it's switched off, it shows the new code the next time it starts. This works for Raspberry Pis, Fire TV and Android TV players, and browser players. Pis set up from our download won't add themselves back to your account.
Removing a screen frees up its slot in your plan. Your playlists, layouts, menus and media stay in your account.
Move a screen to another location
You don't need to remove it. Plug the player in at the new place, connect it to the internet, and rename it under Screens. A Raspberry Pi set up from our download can also have its Wi-Fi changed from the screen's page while it's still online.
Give a player to someone else
- Remove it from your account as above.
- Hand it over. They add the code it shows under Screens → Add screen in their own account.
For a Raspberry Pi, they can keep using it as it is. If you also want your Wi-Fi details removed from it, write a fresh SD card before giving it away.
