Fire TV and Android TV / Google TV

Install the SignageLite app on a TV stick or Android box.

Fire TV (Stick 4K, 4K Max, Cube)

1. On the Fire TV home screen, search for Downloader (orange icon, by AFTVnews) and install it.
2. Turn on Developer options once: Settings → My Fire TV → About, then click the device name 7 times.
3. Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps → turn Downloader on.
4. Open Downloader, type signagelite.com/app and press Go. Choose Install, then Open.
5. Pick Dedicated sign (starts by itself when the TV turns on) or Shared TV (open it when you want it).
6. Add the pairing code under Screens → Add screen.

The Fire TV Stick 4K Select and newer Fire TV sticks running Vega OS can't install outside apps, so they won't work.

Android TV and Google TV

1. Install Downloader from the Play Store on the TV.
2. Turn on Developer options: Settings → System → About, click Android TV OS build 7 times.
3. Allow Downloader to install apps (Settings → Apps → Security & restrictions → Unknown sources).
4. Open Downloader, type signagelite.com/app, then install and open.
5. For a dedicated sign, allow Display over other apps if asked, then restart the TV once.

Remote tips

Press Menu (≡) or hold OK for 3 seconds for app settings. If someone opens another app, the sign comes back on its own after the time set in the app's settings.
